This video is a good example of persistence; I was in Rome to film ”The Life Aquatic”, a Wes Anderson’s film, in which Jorge played a role. I lived there for nine months, I built strong ties with all the staff and the movie cast. We became a family. Parallel to this I was working with Naïve label and Favela Chic Paris, we were producing and releasing the album "Cru", by Seu Jorge. So I decided to get money for the production of a music video for the song "Tive Razão".
My friend, Marcelo Loureiro, raised the money for this project and I was able to produce the video. I invited Bill Murray and Willem Dafoe who were there starring the film, to star in my video and because we had all become such good friends in that time they accepted my invitation without blinking an eye. I did not need anything else,i had a limited budget, but with the team I had it was the best one that anybody could ask for! 😉 This won me another MTV music video award. It was a very important job for someone who was so involved with other commitments, but was still so in love with cinema.
